About the notary
Notary Public, admitted 2009
Eleanor practised as a solicitor in cross-border commercial work before being admitted as a notary public by the Court of Faculties. She has since executed more than twelve thousand notarial acts for private clients, family offices and listed companies.
Her practice is deliberately small. Every instruction is handled personally, from the first review of the papers to the moment the apostille returns from the FCDO — because a document rejected abroad is rarely rejected for a small reason.
Same-day appointments are usually available if you contact us before midday. Evening slots are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A valid passport or photocard driving licence, plus a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your address. For company work we also need evidence of your authority to sign.
Yes. The notarial certificate is issued in English and, where required, bilingually. We can arrange a certified translation before the appointment.
An apostille is issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and is accepted by Hague Convention states. Other countries require additional attestation at their embassy, which we handle on your behalf.
